Amphibians
Amphibians are cold-blooded animals, which means they do not generate their own body heat like mammals do. The technical term for this is ectothermic. Amphibians have moist skin, and have no scales or claws. There are three orders of amphibians. These are the squigly caecilians, resembling earth worms. The salamanders, greatly resembling lizards in some ways, and the most famous of all, frogs and toads, bringing joy to children for many centuries.
