Evolution is a creation myth that is currently masquerading as science. It is a primarily atheistic religion, though some believers are deists, and even some theists have accepted it and attempted to merge it with their religions. It is commonly accepted that Charles Darwin was the discoverer of Evolution, however there is much evidence that he essentially plagiarised most of his work, and just as much evidence of similar beliefs having existed a long time in the past.

 

Evolution has so many different sects, it is hard to summarise it in one short description. Another problem is that Evolutionists themselves rarely understand what Evolution actually is. The failure to distinguish Evolution from natural selection, speciation and adaptation is very common amoung followers of Evolution. The main difference between Evolution and the other processes mentioned is that Evolution is a creative process, whereas the other processes only work with what is already there.

 

Evolutionists generally believe all life on Earth is linked by a common ancestry. Ultimately, Evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth. The original life form is allegedly a prokaryotic cell (like a bacteria), which was created by pure chance. The story goes that over the generations, this cell evolved into more complex organisms, which continued to increase in complexity over billions of years.
