Tom joined TGK in late December 2013. He is an ex Mormon, and is determined to provide Mormons who are still trapped by the lies of Joseph Smith with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they may know the freedom and joy that he brings.

Rob Rose joined TGK in late December 2013, but it wasn't until the 9th of January 2014 that he applied to be a writer. His application was gratefully accepted, and he became the fourth member of TGK. Rob runs his own website, From Marvel to Moses, and he is very knowledgeable on numerous subjects. His specialist area is History and World Religions.

ABOUT TGK

In November 2010, the newly converted Jay Zeke Malakai started an apologetics ministry known as Theory of a Man as a small project attempting to answer the questions put to him by his skeptical friends. Theory of a Man, while it contained a lot of information, also contained several theological errors, as Jay was a very young Christian and very "liberal" in his faith. Aside from several formatting problems, Theory of a Man contained egregious theological errors such as the belief that one can be saved by having a Christian relative, even if one is not a believer themselves, and several Theistic Evolutionist beliefs were also propagated. On September 29th 2012, Jay shut down Theory of a Man and started with a fresh website, The Genesis Key, with the intention of reaching out to people of all faiths and helping Christians to grow in theirs.

Troy Hartje joined The Genesis Key in February 2013. He is a keen reptile enthusiast, and is especially interested in geckos.

Jay created TGK, and was the only member for a very long time. He especially focuses on the areas of Biblical Creation and science vs. Evolution, but he often strays from these areas to deal with issues such as abortion, marriage, Catholicism, Islam and Mormonism.

Meet the team

On the 23rd of November 2014, Jordan Gipson became the fifth member of TGK. Jordan has a complicated religious background, accepting Jesus at the tender age of four, but backsliding a little, exploring various religions and practicing Wicca throughout the majority of his high school education. During his Senior year of high school, he returned to Christianity, despite a rather difficult life. Today, he is very much dedicated to the Lord, and his love of science certainly gives him a powerful ability to do so.

Hello, and welcome to The Genesis Key (TGK). TGK is a Christian apologetics and worship ministry designed with the intention of worshipping God and presenting a case for the truth of his word, equipping Christians with the knowledge to share their faith as well as to grow in their faith. This page is intended to explain a little bit about the history of this ministry and tell you about how the site works. May you be greatly blessed in Jesus' Holy name,

Site format

The absence of a working search bar makes this site quite difficult to use, which is rather annoying. To compensate, we have divided each issue into clearly defined sections. Contained within each section is a list of articles related to that topic, which will have been penned by one of our members. When a quote is used, they will be formatted according to the source:

  • Red quotes indicate a negative source, or a source that would disagree with one or more of the beliefs stated in the statement of faith.
  • Blue quotes indicate a positive source. This means the one being quoted is definitely a Christian source, and it is very likely TGK will support their ministry.
  • Blue bold quotes indicate that the one being quoted is a TGK member.
  • Orange quotes are from the Bible itself, and will always be used next to the verse reference, which will be linked the first time it is used in the article. TGK usually cites the ESV, but does not believe any translation is 100% perfect.

All articles will have their authors named just below the title, and if it is edited it will also name the person who edited it. Some articles are edited after they are published on site, usually due to spelling errors, or the original author regretting their choice of words.
