Here are the core beliefs held by TGK.

 

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is true and accurate, in every area on which it touches, as far as it is correctly translated.

• The Bible is the complete written revelation of God given for the salvation of mankind and is the sufficient and final authority regarding Christian life and faith.

• The Bible should be interpreted using the historical-grammatical approach (i.e. it means what it says, according to the language of the time).

• There are no secret messages in the Bible, especially not ones that will be "revealed" by non-Christians hundreds (or thousands) of years later.

• There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Doctrine of the Trinity).

• Jesus Christ is God the Son who became flesh and lived on Earth as a man. He was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and physically rose again on the third day. He is eternal; the first and the last. There is no one else through whom man can be made right with God.

• Salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus, not by works. Good works are a result of salvation.

• TGK is non denominational, though we believe there are true believers in almost every religious group that claims to be Christian.

• Heaven and Hell are real places, and God will divide humanity between the two on judgement day.

• Ultimately, if the Bible preaches it, TGK believes it.
