Habitats

A habitat is a natural home or environment of a plant, animal or other living organism. In the beginning, God commanded animals to fill the Earth, and despite many challenges to that goal, plants and animals certainly succeeded. They now live in a whole range of habitats. From the dry desert, almost devoid of noticeable plant life, to the teeming rainforests, complete with indescribable amounts of plants. From the freezing temperatures of the snowy arctic to the glorious glow of tropical beaches. From the deepest, darkest depths of the oceans to the tiny rockpools on the edge of the sea. The world is certainly not short of places for animals to live, nor is it short of animals to live there. To sustain these animals are large varieties of plants, which are often the defining point of a given habitat. Human beings can also create artificial habitats in which to house animals they keep as pets. This section will discuss the various habitats, as well as the life that might live there.
